Beautiful Large Colorful Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi Marked Chinese Export Pattern Reproduction of an Asian Elephant Dish that was exported to Indian & Islamic Markets. The hand painted artwork is incised and raised on the ceramic dish for a nice textural affect. Has an Asian Elephant in the middle in colorfull and ornate regalia. With palm trees and other tropical plants. Two borders. The outer border has a green leaf pattern with with green and red. The inner border is red and white with more green foliage. The colors are bright and pop. Great shapes, color and textural interest. Has a high quality red Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi overglaze mark on the back, but it is a reprodution that appears to have been made in the 1960s. Made in China. Approx. 9.75" Diameter X 1.5” Tall. Very Good to Excellent previously owned vintage condition. It does not look like it has been used. I did not see any damage. It may show some signs of wear and age, but I did not see any worth noting.
