Custom Collar, 20"-22", beaded dog collar, Slip choker, training Collar with clasp high quality for big headed dogs, pets. Choose your color!
This listing is for a made-to-order crocheted beadwork pet collar similar to the one pictured.
Specifics of this listing: 20" to 22" crocheted beadwork training collar, with two bronze O-rings and a bronze swivel hasp. One O-ring is at one end of the collar, with the hasp at the other end, and the second O-ring floating on the body of the collar -- collar is put on the dog's neck by wrapping it around the neck and attaching the swivel hasp to the floating O-ring. Color shown is is black and high quality copper, done in size 6 glass seed beads, strung on one long continuous strand of 100% nylon upholstery cord. Customer may choose from a variety of colors. If a color is wanted that is not pictured, please convo the seller with your request -- many others are available beside those listed. Collar to include an internal heavy nylon cord stretch limiter.
This style of collar (with two O-rings and a swivel hasp) is made to accommodate larger-head breeds, where a standard training collar big enough to slip over their heads might be larger than desired around their necks (for example, many Rottweilers, mastiff-type breeds, apple-headed chihuahuas, etc). [Many breeds whose heads are not significantly larger than the diameter of their necks (for example, greyhound type breeds) will do fine with a standard training collar with an O-ring at either end, that is simply slipped over their heads.]
This size collar is for large breeds. Bear in mind when measuring for size that this collar, being about a 1/2" diameter round collar, will need to be slightly longer than a thin or flat collar. For more information on proper sizing, convo the seller.
These collars are not only very beautiful, but also coat-friendly and very strong. Do not burn, bleach, cut or stab them with sharp things at they tend to last a lifetime, and remain pretty through the years. They are easy care -- if they ever get dirty, rinse them with water, using soap if necessary or desired, and rinse well.
