How completely Modernist....
This bracelet has the clean lines, simplicity of form and austere presentation typical to minimalist design. It was crafted sometime in the late 1960s to early 1970s and speaks to the classic Modernist design aesthetic of the period.

The bracelet is composed of sterling silver and a gorgeous cabochon of Tigers Eye. The cabochon provides the perfect geometric form to counter balance the fluidity of the design. The design has an oppositional color palette with the rich warm tones of the Tigers Eye highlighted by the icy shine of the sterling silver. It is a beautifully executed design and a stunning example of Mid Century Modernism.

The bracelet will fit a small wrists (5.5” to 6”) for it can not be adjusted. The interior measurement is 4.90” with a gap of 1.10”. Givens it's width .50”, this bracelet is not a big and bulky design but rather an artistic statement for the wrist.

Note: The piece is signed CORY. After an extensive internet search no information could be found on this designer.
I have had two customers attribute this Hallmark to the famous modernist artisan Ken Cory. His hallmark however is Ken Cory placed in a triangle. He may have developed a line of jewelry before his death using the simple “Cory” as a hallmark but there is no mention of this in his book.
