This handmade silver and gold bangle has been inspired by the moon with it's wonderful cratered surface.

The cratered surface has been created by placing the 2.5mm thick round recycled sterling silver wire onto a concrete surface and with a mallet bashing over the silver against the ground. The wire is then formed into a bangle, the ends soldered to create the solid bangle. I collect scraps of gold to make the balls by collecting small amounts of the scrap gold are heated up until they form small balls. The gold dots are then soldered onto the bangle, oxidised and then polished to a high shine.

The best way to measure for a bangle is too measure around the widest part of the fist, not the wrist as the bangle has to go over the hand.

If you are unable to measure the hand, as it is for a gift the most high quality popular size is 20.2cm circumference.

This bangle takes between 4 days to 2 weeks to make and to be hallmarked depending on order levels, before being shipped.
