I remember seeing this quote a few years ago on a PostSecret and it's stuck with me since. We all feel a little alone and strange sometimes and there is comfort in thinking there could be someone halfway across the world who feels just the same. As always with my collages, the base layer of paint and what I originally imagine drastically changes by the end. I think I used more fabric bits than paint for high quality once, which is a change. Then came the cool buttons, pretty stamps and (my ultimate favorite) lots of broken pieces of mirror.
