DESCRIPTION : Porcelain has a raised ribbon design around the mouth and base. Sweet floral design in blue red violet and yellow on white china background. Gold garland at top and bottom of pitcher. Rimmed in gold with speckled gold on handle. Simply lovely.

Pitcher measures 10 1/2 " x 5 1/2 ". 5 1/4 " across the base. high quality Handle measures 6 1/2 "

Erdmann was in straight competition to his namesake in the same town, Reinhold Schlegelmilch (RS Prussia). Both companies delivered outstanding products and had a great following, mainly in the US. Mark dates from the 1890's.
