Michael Graves 3 in 1 FOLDING CHESS SET Board Game Checkers Backgammon Like New. This is a 3 in 1 folding Board Game set designed by Michael Graves for Target. It features his modern contemporary chess pieces, which are so eye catching and beautiful. I have his wooden chess board with similar pieces and people comment high quality on them all the time. The set comes in a plastic sleeve (the plastic has a matte feel) the top can be used as a handle. You slide the plastic folding board out of the plastic and the closure is magnetic. You can play Chess, Checkers, and Backgammon on the same, double-sided, board. The board is metal. There are some tiny scratches on the backgammon side of the board (pictured). All pieces accounted for. The plastic holding in the white chess pieces has been wrinkled. I'm not entirely sure when this set came out but Michael Graves started designing games for Target in 2000.
