This absolutely gorgeous antique pajama bag is a spectacular item from a long gone era. You would place your sleepwear in this and place it on your pillow, ready for when you went to bed!
This is entirely hand made from silk with stunning floral embroidery on the front and tiny french knots on the inside. It's trimmed with handmade lace around the edges, and has its original buttons and loops. There's a gentle padding to it, so it feels wonderful to handle and store things in. It dates from the early 1900s, possibly even the late 1800s.
Due to its age there are some small splits in the silk on the back (pictured), and a stain on the pink silk frill (pictured). These are both on the back and the silk could be delicately patched.
All items are presented as clearly as possible with all known faults pointed out. However, due to the antique nature high quality of these items, please allow for signs of age.
