This box has been built with Solid construction and is heirloom quality. It features mitered corners and a Friction Top that easily slides off but engineered with tight tolerances to hold on snuggly. The box was made out of a single piece of Black Limba and if you notice the grain of the wood travels around the box. There is a small notch on the inside of the lid and body for alignment when putting the lid back on.
You will love the clean look of a mitered box that has continuous grain wrapping around the corners. Inside the bottom is lined with soft red leather so your precious keepsakes have something soft to rest on. There are so many uses for a box like this from keeping special memories to just having a beautiful attraction to adorn your desk.
