The Cat's Eye Shoulder Bag is made with plant dyed linen and stitched with naturally dyed crewel yarn. It is lined in cotton canvas with an invisible magnetic closure.
I grow or sustainably forage for the materials I dye with from my region (although i have been sent a box of walnuts from a friend, when I couldn't find any in town!) The bottom is waxed canvas made here in the US and the strap is oak tanned leather attached with brass rivets. The bag is designed as a shoulder bag and tucks neatly under the arm, with the straps measuring 29" end to end.
Each bag is one of a kind, I design the stitched elements in my studio. A hand bag in particular is such a personal part of our daily lives, i like the idea of ones bag being unique.
