Rare and beautiful high quality, highly decorative and collectible Royal Albert Chelsea Bird cake plate with handles. The plate is designed in the Red Chelsea bird pattern that was popular in the 1920s-30s. Marked on base 'Royal Albert Bone China England Chelsea Bird' with a serial number.

The color of the bowl is white with maroon border and an exotic bird in the center surrounded with pink, yellow and blue flower sprays around the border.

The plate edge and handles are gold gilded and look just beautiful. The condition of the plate is excellent. The gold gild on the plate is a bit worn out but you can hardly see it. The handles are great.

I am sure that the plate was used only for decorative purposes.

The plate measures 8.5x10 inches wide.
