This is a pretty art glass bowl made in Malta - a Mediterranean archipelago (group of islands), south of Italy. The MCM fragmented “Ming” pattern bowl (or posy vase), looks green but is actually an outer layer of blue with an inner layer of yellow. This lovely piece is intended to represent the island's affinity with sea, sand, earth and sky.
The piece is high quality signed “Mdina”. There is a tiny flea bite on the bottom rim.
This is a beautiful piece to add to your art glass collection or to use as a posy vase or even a candle holder.
Approximate measurements - 9.5 cm high with a top diameter of 12.5 cm (3 3/4” X 5”)
