This leather clutch wallet is made of a standard cow leather that is embossed with a crocodile hide design, so yes it looks very good but isn't real crocodile leather. If you live in a place that bans the import of actual crocodile leather, you have nothing to worry about with this very good imitation crocodile leather. Both the exterior and the closure strap are covered in the embossed leather, and the interior uses a very thin glazed (finished) leather that is sometimes called pull up leather for the way it changes it's color and finish when pulled on or stretched. All the parts of this clutch are high quality and it will be the perfect conversation piece or fashion accent for a formal dress occasion.
This pocketbook is roughly the size of a checkbook and when folded, it only measures 7 1/4 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide and just under 3/4 of an inch thick without credit cards or bills. It has five credit card slots on each side that can each hold multiple credit cards (not included) and pockets under the credit cards on each side to hold money (also not included). The wallet is made completely from genuine top grain leather, including all the interior pieces. The crocodile leather is black and so is the leather lacing along the edges of the wallet. The interior pockets a dark brown and the inner lining high quality is a light brown pigskin that gives a nice color contrast.
