This classy black and gold top hat is 5 1/2" tall and would fit a medium size head (22 1/2"). The black velvet fabric has a spikey gold print. Under the brim you will find a hand-woven raffia braid and gold velvet.

The fabric is sewn, mostly by hand, onto a crushable base of Pellon. There is "memory wire" on the edge of the brim so you can shape and style it any way you want, with the brim either turned up, flat, or curved at a jaunty angle. You can add your own style with feathers, beads or just about anything!

This hat is not entirely waterproof, but if you get caught out in the rain it's not the end of the world.... just let the hat dry without any wrinkles or creases and it will be fine.
