First Edition 1901 Historical Book The New Century Perfect Speaker

I high quality Love this Book! It's so Interesting and it's pretty hard to find too. It is a First Edition Edited and Copyrighted in 1901 by John Coulter as stated on the Title Page. The title page also includes a brief explanation of the book which reads: A Complete Encyclopedia Of Elocution, Oratory and Etiquette Including After Dinner Wisdom And Humor; Mirthful Gems By Witty Writers; Portraits And Biographies of America's Most Distinguished Statesmen; Devines And Public Speakers; Also Complete Etiquette of Home, Social, Public And Official Life And A Special Department For Children. Superbly Illustrated Edited And Copyrighted, 1901 By John Coulter.

This is a Large Hardbound Cloth Covered Book with a Beautifully Decorated Front Cover that features a Dark Red background decorated with Black Impressed Flowers, Gilt Accents, and a Round Press Down Picture of a Lovely Woman in Period Dress. The Back Cover is Blank. The Spine also has Black Impressed Lettering and a decoration of Impressed Black Lit Torches Tied with a Bow. There are 604 Pages in this book many of which are Wonderful Full Page Black And White Photos of Lovely Women in Beautiful Period Gowns and Hats and Famous Men from the period. There are several Blank Pages, Title Page, Preface Page, Eight Table Of Contents Pages, The Table Of Contents Page states that the First Section, "Elocution And Physical Culture starts on page 65, but there are not sixty five proceeding pages, however in my research I found that this is the case with many of these books. This is most probably a publishing mistake/misprint as all pages are present.
10"H x 7 1/2"W x 1 1/2" thick Weighs a hefty 2lbs. 80z.

Condition: Very Good. Due to age and use this book is Not in perfect condition, but for it's age and all the use I'm sure it got it is in Great condition. The Front cover shows wear to the corners , some loss of gilt to decoration, normal discolor, and very slight soil. The Back cover also shows wear to the corners, slight discolor, and slight soil. The spine is in good condition with slight discolor, slight soiling, and some crinkling to top and bottom. There is a crack in the binding on the title page, but all pages are attached and secure. There are a few light pencil marks to some pages as well as discolor, some dogeared pages, and slight soiling. As stated above all pages seem to be present.
