Sankyo Japan Christmas Mouse Music Box. Made in Japan for Sprouse-Reitz stores in the 1960's. Plays Silent night. You wind the base to start the music box.

Perfect condition and in original box. Marked Sankyo Japan on the bottom.

There is a "pearl" pin type thing under the rocking chair and when it is wound, this pin goes back and forth and the pearl head rubs on the bottom of the chair and causes it to rock. VERY VERY cute!

Just look at the face on the Mouse! She is simply adorable with her cute big ears and sweet face! She wears a little dress made of red and white gingham and lace. She also wears a cap on her head. awww Her rocking chair is blue and white gingham on wood. The base where her chair sits is flocked. The bottom part is red and white gingham and white lace. She has 2 gifts sitting by her that are also red and white gingham and white ribbon. Pearl accents on the side of stand. Seriously one of the cuter Mid Century Christmas Decor Items I have ever seen.

Stands 7" tall. Across the base where her chair sits is 5" at widest point. Her chair is 4" x 3 1/2" and she is approx 3" tall while in sitting position. She will come in original box which measures 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" She will be carefully wrapped for a safe journey to her new home.

This music box is in perfect working condition high quality and is not over wound. At time of sale the music box works beautifully. No returns on this type of item because of the nature of the music box.
