Gorgeous Mid-Century black and gold glass coffee carafe by Fred Press in the Trojan Horse pattern. Black handle tests to be Bakelite. Includes original plastic lid with what appears to be a brass handle. Lid is curved on one side to allow contents to be poured out of spout. Marked "Fred Press" on one side underneath horse, and "Corning Brand Heat Proof Glass" on glass under handle. Carafe is in very nice vintage condition. No chips or cracks high quality. No major scratches, and no cloudiness to glass. Gold band is tight and secure. Graphics are clear, bright, and bold, with very minimal wear. There are two very small rust spots to lower part of gold band. Please view all photos. Stands 11-1/2" tall to top of handle on lid. From a smoke-free and pet-friendly home.
