The traditionally produced wire cutters from the Japanese scissors producer Shozaburo will last a lifetime. The handle is wrapped with Iga weave of silk thread, a technique that was originally used as a closure for Japanese armor and clothing. The leather sheath offers protection to the blades. The wire cutter is 108mm long in total; the blades are 36mm long, 14mm thick and 25mm wide.
