Vintage Italian pottery ceramic high quality donkey with two side planters. This has hand painted details over a shiny mottled glaze. The two side baskets are smoother, hand thrown clay. The actual donkey is pretty course, looking hand crafted. The 'baskets' can hold plants, but could also hold pens and such on your desk.
This guy is large. He stands approximately 9" high, and 8" across including the side planters. He is marked "Italy H6" and even an old paper label, but the numbers are a mystery. He has a glued ear and various small chips, they sort of blend in and just fit in with his age and the rough style. Please see our photos as they are part of the description.
