The history of «Minsk watch factory» has begun in 1953 when the decision on factory building was accepted. Then the beginning was necessary to development of the watch industry of Byelorussia. The first female watch "Zarya" is let out on December, 14th, 1955. In 1964 Manufacture of electromechanical watch is organised. In 1973 Release of automobile watch is adjusted. In 1974 At the Leipzig fair a women watch of "Luch-1816" with a calendar is noted by a gold medal. In 1980 Production part was exported to 13 countries, including to Great Britain, Panama, Syria, Germany. The Minsk watch factory was under construction with orientation to release of wide scale of watch, and already with release of the first collection in 1956 watch of the trade mark "Luch" began to use the raised demand. For 55 years of the existence the Minsk watch factory has proved as the reliable and stable partner. During this time at the enterprise constantly there was a manufacture perfection, new technologies accustomed, modern technical processes took root, the factory constantly increased a volume of output.
