Wonderful English Staffordshire Hunt Scene plate in the " Belzoni " pattern made by Enoch Wood & Sons Pottery high quality 1818-1846.
Vivid purple transferware depicts a hunter on horseback with bow and arrow hunting two ostriches.
Plate is in very good condition with a bright shiny glaze and no cracks or repairs. The only defects are 2 tiny flakes on the rim. (Please see my photos)
This is dinner plate size measuring 9 1/4".
There are four scenic medallions around the border along with grapes.
