Antique Sterling Silver Footballer Locket high quality S. Bros 1893

An unusual late 19th century sterling silver locket with a football motif. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1893, maker's high quality marks S. Bros.

Such a unique design, perhaps to commemorate a football tournament of the time?

Inside are two removable inner rings to place your photos behind.

Sold with a new sterling silver 18 inch belcher chain.

CONDITION
Good condition. Some light wear and a bit of very light pitting on the reverse, commensurate with age.

Your purchase will be packed in a black card jewellery box (made from 100% recycled be boxboard with an eco-fibre filing).

ANTIQUE JEWELLERY
All of my jewellery is second hand and therefore has been worn before - some pieces have quite a bit of age under their belts. Just like anything antique, it goes without saying that it should always be treated with a little extra care :)
My pieces won't be in 100% perfect condition - there may be a small amount of light surface wear and scratching commensurate with their age. Anything significant I will always mention in the "condition" report.

DELIVERY
All orders will be sent tracked and insured. For orders outside the UK, I cannot guarantee delivery date, only give an estimate. Most of the time, delivery keeps within the estimate but occasionally items do get delayed within the system or take a bit longer to go through customs. This is beyond the control of Wren & Rust, but I'll do everything I can to monitor the progress and keep you informed.

RETURNS 
I will of course accept returns if you change your mind (buyer to cover postage expenses). Please contact me within 14 days of receiving an item.
