This mixed media artwork tells the story of uncovering my own inner serenity. Each work starts with three thoughts, Where am I starting? Where am I going? and Will I be at peace with the end result? Working with different materials such as acrylic, washi tape, alcohol ink, pen, and resin can be at times unpredictable. I find myself on a journey through the unknown each time, wondering how I will reach the final destination. This piece brought me so much joy in figuring out new ways to use my materials , and learning from my mistakes. And in the end I found myself taking in the sight of new heights, as she did, not without a new perspective, not without peace.
