Antique 950 high quality Silver Greek Orthodox Icon of the ANNUNCIATION Stand Up Picture-3.5" tall-Marked with BM hallmark

This listing is for a 950 Silver picture of the Annunciation. It shows the angel Gabriel appearing to Mary. I believe this piece is from Greece and I am dating it from around the 1960's, but it may be earlier. This comes from an estate where the gentleman traveled extensively in the middle east and Europe. The piece is marked with a hallmark of a B over an M and 950 for the silver content. It is obviously hand made and not a mass produced item. (see close ups) The back has a bracket so you can stand the picture up.
The picture measures about 3 1/2" tall by 3 3/4" wide. This is lovely, antique picture .....great piece to add to any collection and a wonderful gift item too. Nice piece for a home altar or just a lovely small piece for your dresser or night stand. These do not turn up very often....a true, beautiful antique piece that is much nicer than my pictures can show...... satisfaction guaranteed, so take advantage here and don't miss out on this lovely piece.
