Here we have an 1880s art tile GIRL PORTRAIT by F FRENZEL for American Encaustic Tile Company.

This is a tile high quality depicting a portrait of a girl on the background of scrolling flowers. Good antique condition with crazing which is common in old glazes. Tile was made by American Encaustic Tile Company of Zanesville, Ohio, modeled by artist F. Frenzel. Tile size: 6x6 inches.
