♦About this piece: FLY, (It's a necessity not a suggestion.) Just like birds do with their young.
This original assemblage is composed of an old wood birdhouse wall, with added roof and base from recycled wood. The bauble in the center is glass. The top birds are metal, the bottom birds are plastic, and the center bird is iron-like (very heavy metal) All have been painted in a bright blue, a homage to the eastern bluebird (one of my favorites) FLY was cut from an 1890's school primer.
