MICHIYUKI HAORI / Cotton Vintage Japanese Kimono high quality Coat / Stunning Antique Jacket / HandSewn Kimono Jacket / Mum / Dahlia Flower / Needs Snaps

This stunning unfinished antique cotton Japanese haori Kimono jacket / coat called a michiyuki coat is worn over a kimono in Japan but looks stunning worn alone or as a top over pants, leggins, etc.. The entire garment is superior workmanship - likely made at home and all handstitched - but it does not yet have its hidden snaps for closing the front - usually there would be two at the very top and one or two on the side of the front flap..a relatively easy finish that you would need to complete. It features beautifully hand-dyed flowers & leaves in an allover pattern. The color is stunning in muted antique shades and is a beautiful combination of tan, orange, lavender, green and blue with a light purple lining. This jacket is in excellent condition for its age, with no issues and shows no sign of wear though this is clearly antique fabric.

The last photo of the model shows a different pink jacket that is already sold and NOT included in the purchase price, but gives you another idea of how this looks on someone. I wear mine casually with jeans or slacks - alone or great over a turtleneck or a tank top. high quality No one else will have anything like it.

All my kimonos are wonderful for travel since the silk doesn't wrinkle when folded. Stunning pattern and hand-sewn workmanship unlike anything you can find in ready-to-wear! As long as you verify the measurements, you won't be disappointed!
