Product code: Necklace with ruby, gold chain, 585 goldfilled, high quality short in beautiful design

I worked this wonderful necklace with shiny faceted ruby ovals in 22k hard gold-plated bezel frame, combined with a spiral element in 585 gold-filled and chopstick chain elements high quality in 585 goldfilled. The chain runs backwards with a triple-laid rod chain in 585 goldfilled.

Goldfilled is a high-quality alloy of 14-carat gold (gold 585) and another metal.
This is an American standard that states that at least 1/20 part of the weight of the piece must be made of 14-carat gold (gold 585). So it is not a thin layer that peels off quickly, but a proper alloy. This creates a beautiful – and inexpensive – quality that is well tolerated by people who cannot tolerate other metals other than gold. Goldfilled stays beautiful for a lifetime!

Despite its lavishness, the necklace looks light and airy at the neck due to its filigree work in summer and autumn.

Rubin
got its name because of its color, which derives from the Latin word "rubeus" (red). Previously, it was called Carfunkel, which in the Middle Ages was a common term for red gemstones such as garnet, spinel or ruby. In India, rubies were used as talismans, and for old stone collectors it was considered a stone of all stones, which unites you with the power of all all gemstones. The ancient Greeks also saw in him the mother of all gemstones. Aristotle wrote of him: "One is red as pure blood and is called Ruby. This is the best of all". It was even mentioned in the Old Testament and was considered a symbol of the royal tribe of Judah. Rubin has always been regarded as a lucky stone of love, because he combines spiritual love with the physical. Thus, he is an important healing stone in the Patnerschaft. In addition to this meaning, it is also known as a lucky stone against evil. He is said to have warned of the plague in the Middle Ages due to the dark enasemience. Hildegard von Bingen also described healing effects for fever and headaches. It is one of the rarest and with diamond and sapphire one of the hardest of all gemstones.
