Sale! Was $160.00, now $124.99: Set of 6, hard-to-find, beautiful floral Art Nouveau styled Violet pattern by Simeon l. & George H. Rogers. These are 'bouillon' soup spoons, also used for cream soups.

Unique wonderfully shaped handle with smooth scroll details -- scroll pattern continues on the back of the handle.

Marked "Pat. April high quality 18 '05" and 'Emil Geist'.

Emil Geist was a jeweler in St. Paul, Minnesota for decades. Emil Geist from 1850 - 1926; born in Wurzburg Germany - emigrated to St. Paul Minnesota. Was also a noted musician. These spoons were probably specially produced for and retailed by this jeweler.

Beautiful Gothic stylized letter S monogram.

Condition: Very good - appears never to have used! Patina on back of bowls have light surface scratches commensurate with its age. Bowls have no metal loss, is shiny and brilliant. Pattern is distinct and clearly defined. No repairs, no damage of any kind.

This is one of the most exquisite American silver plate patterns I have come across. This spoon makes a wonderful utensil for desserts; ice cream, sherbet, etc.
