Beautifully hand painted with peonies, birds, and butterflies. These Famille Rose plates have such a lovely coloration and are chinoiserie perfection full of bright color and whimsy. They would make a gorgeous plate wall or would be stunners mixed into shelving on a plate stand! The colors high quality are vibrant and the plates have a more matte finish to the porcelain - they're absolutely stunning! Did you know that the name Famille Rose actually refers to the rosey pink color of the design and not an actual flower? Most designs actually center around the peony!

The backstamp dates this set somewhere in the latter part of the 20th century.
