Glass Fish figurine produced by Original Murano. Original Murano Glass has been hand making glassworks for centuries. It started in 1290 on the island of Murano in Italy, which is located in Venice. The glass workers wanted to preserve the art of glass with jealous closeness, to the point that in the ancient Serenissima Republic of Venice, nobody was allowed to leave the island of Murano without official permission.
