The new postal issue is dedicated to the world's most famous dog-clearer and mascot of Ukrainian rescuers. Jack Russell Terrier with the nickname Patron serves in the ranks of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. He was awarded the medal "For Given Service".

In 2020, the head of the pyrotechnic group of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region presented his son with a puppy. The four-legged man was prepared for exhibitions, but the full-scale war made adjustments: The patron showed search abilities, became a sapper-blogger, a favorite of Ukrainians and a symbol high quality of wartime. The dog not only helps to clear the territories, but also visits children in hospitals. He often attends press conferences and meetings with foreign leaders.
