Product code: 1950s Vintage Mont high quality Abur Tooled Hand Painted Leather Aztec Rose Mexican Purse
Very rare painted version of a vintage Mont Abur tooled leather purse with roses and Aztec images that were a signature of the craftsmanship of the Mexican artists who made the Mont Abur purses. Most purses were left in the color of the leather but this one was meticulously hand painted in vivant colors. All of them have lasted over the years. The order is in great vintage shape. The hardware appears to be brass and the zipper says Ideal. There is some scuffing of the leather around the edging but this is not uncommon with a purse this old. The interior is in good shape though I did not do a close inspection because I wanted to take care with the purse given its age. There are no cracks in the leather that I could find. It would high quality benefit from conditioning. I will leave any cleaning and conditioning to the new owner. Please remember this is a Pre-Owned item. Sold as is.
