This doll is unusual and I cannot find any information on. The head is bisque and it moves side to side high quality when the right leg is moved. The doll has blue glass stationary eyes. She has an open mouth showing four teeth. Her makeup is in good condition, however her face needs to be cleaned up. It appears her head may have been repaired at one time as there is some type of putty material inside. She is marked 4/0 on the back of the neck and a small faint X above the numbers. See pictures. I am not sure if this is a Kestner head or not. Her torso, arms, and lower legs are made of composition. There is a sticker on the back that is written in Italian. I used google translate and two of the words are Patent Pending. Under her torso is a wood mechanism that makes her head move. I do not know if that is original or was designed later on. The composition shows its age and there are some small chips on the edge of her fingers. She only remains in a standing position, she does not sit.
