Our Original Quilt Hanger is a beautiful way to provide full support for your valued textile while it displays on the wall. Our quilt and rug hangers support your textiles with gentle even pressure. The quilt hanger will display your textiles conveniently and safely. Simply place the edge of your textile between the two rails and tighten the knobs. The 3 knobs are placed above the tapestry so they will not puncture your textile and provide enough support for heavy rugs.

Before ordering:
Please make sure you measure your textile's width and thickness. The textile's width should not be wider than the size you are ordering. The hanger can be the same width or overhang the textile by an inch or two depending upon the look that you want displayed. Our hangers on Etsy can only hold a textile that has a maximum thickness of 3/8 inch. Silk rugs should be wrapped in fabric due to the slipperiness of their fibers. Unevenly thick textiles must be wrapped in fabric so that the textile becomes the same thickness all the way across the width.

Details / Dimensions: Either 54 or 60 inches wide by 2 inches tall. Solid oak stained and top coated with a clear professional-grade satin finish. Black and white hangers are painted with a satin finish on maple. Both top & bottom are made of solid hardwood approx. 3/4" thick. 1" knobs extend approx. 3/4" from face of hanger. 2 keyhole slots on the back for secure fastening to your wall. 3 knobs are on the 54 and 60 inch hangers used to secure the textile in place without puncturing your textile. Hanging hardware not included. Use appropriate anchors for your wall. Detailed instructions provided with purchase. Each purchase is one hanger. Size, color and quantity determined by your selection. **Unfinished Oak Hangers: Sanded and made with solid oak. When buying unfinished hangers, we encourage you to wrap the edge of your textile with a natural unbleached-undyed fabric like natural muslin to help protect your textile. Unfinished hangers can damage the edge of your textile from the resins in the wood. If you plan on finishing your hanger, the finish you apply could also transfer to your textile over time.

**Again, please measure your textile's width and thickness. If you purchased a textile online and do not have it in hand, please wait until you are able to measure your textile before placing an order for your hanger. We have found that packaging and listing dimensions vary greatly from actual textile high quality dimensions.
