Vintage Liebermann Navy Blue Leather Suitcase high quality

Love this old vintage suitcase! There is a red metal Liebermann, Saginaw, Michigan tag outside by the blue leather and metal handle marked P.L.G. Corp. U.S. Pat. App. No. 3919. I believe there was also a sewed in label there also, but only the stitching is left. Condition outside is pretty good for the age. There are some marks and scratches and the leather is worn at the corners, but everything is intact and the latches work great, although there are no keys.

Inside behind the top pocket is a foil label reading Leather Good Manufacturers Liebermann Trunk Co. Dealers, Saginaw, Michingan. Picture 4 shows the other label which reads Lined with Celanese Clairanese Acetate Rayon Taffeta Styled by White Star Luggage. There are a couple stains inside, all of which can be seen in picture 2. There is no smell in the luggage at all. All in all, it's a very usable piece of luggage or would be great for display.

This actually may be prior to the 30's. One article sated that the company moved to Lansing in 1931. There are records showing that the high quality Trunk Co. was in Saginaw in the late 1800's.
