From a collection of the artist's earlier work, this simply beautiful hand blown art glass vase has a fun ridged pattern from an optic mold used during the creation process. This special vessel has a transparent reddish purple color that can be described as "on the wine side of amethyst". The spots of color are concentrated towards the top of the vase and in vertical fields left from the mold pattern. The royal color of this classy piece is encased in clear glass, capturing light and giving the piece captivating depth.
The extra wide mouth makes it a wonderful candy bowl, yet it's extra height and tapered shape allow it to function as a wide-mouth vase for holding fresh flowers, precious collectibles...or a candle with a beautiful glow!
