"The company that manufactured Danecraft jewelry began as Felch & Co. in 1930's in Providence, Rhode Island. In 1934, jeweler and silversmith Victor Primavera joined with James Felch to found Felch & Co. in Providence, R.I. By the late 1930s, the firm had introduced its "Danecraft" jewelry, a line inspired by the fashionable art nouveau designs of eminent Danish silversmith Georg Jensen.
The name of the company was changed to Danecraft in 1945 when Primavera purchased Felch's interest in the company.
Before the name change, jewelry manufactured by this business was marked CFo (with the C surrounding the F). Some pieces were also marked Danecraft CFo, which would date those pieces before 1945." - courtesy WorthPoint
