Finely high quality Hand Knitted Estonian Mittens in Brown and yellow - warm and windproof

Knitted with three yarns (brown, yellow and off-white) in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The brown and yellow yarns are hand dyed, the off-white is natural sheep color, both 100% wool from Estonia. Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK-weight yarn, they are perfect to block wind and wear in winter.

This pattern is a traditional one from Põlva high quality Parish in historic Võru region in nowaday Põlva County, Estonia. This pattern depicts powerful and protective 8-corner stars.
