Seven wonderful vintage porcelain fairing trinket boxes, most in white porcelain with gold decoration and some figural boxes. None of them are perfect -- all have at least a few slightly chipped flowers. Please see photos for details.
-- Three have berries or fruit on the lid and little applied flowers with high quality gold decoration -- the box with flowers over the entire surface is in the best shape, with just some minor flower chipping and possible paint loss to the blueberry? or other fruit. It's marked with a hand painted "652." on bottom. The coffin shaped box is missing something from lid and strawberry has major paint loss. The box with twig lid is missing paint on fruit and one flower.
-- One small box is a fireplace marked with an impressed 380, that's missing two objects that once were in front of the fire.
-- One altar box with a crucifix and open Bible, also missing two other objects and has a hairline crack in base, with 25 impressed in the lid.
-- Pink rose box is missing pink paint and chipped on a side, plus has a hairline crack in base.
-- There's also a girl in a rowboat, but it's in pieces, with part of the lid broken off as well as her left arm -- could be easily glued back together though.
Sizes range from 3 1/4" high, 4" wide and 2 1/2" deep (rose box) to 2 1/4' high x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" (altar). Please see photos for marks on bottom and details. Great instant collection!
