"Is Lisbon beautiful?" This set of three wall art prints fa m the Alfama showing how history etched beauty into the oldest parts of the city that cannot be high quality erased by time. Alfama is where the ancient fishing village began, and it remains pretty much unchanged for centuries. Taking a walk along its twisting, narrow streets is like walking through history, a very beautifully respected history.The first picture in this set is simply named "Alfama." It's a perspective looking down at the old homes and churches clustered on the waterfa nt. "Walking Through History" (https://www.etsy.com/listing/245042346/portugal-art-walking-in-history-alfama) features a curling, cobbled street, where an older man walks and cars seem peculiarly out of place.I put these pictures together as a set because they make such a poetic statement about the unf rgettable artfulness that's existed in Lisbon for a thousand years.
