This leather has been treated with oils, waxes and dyes in a way that makes this leather have a deep rich color and when its stretched or pulled, the finish becomes lighter in those areas, giving it a nice worn or rugged appearance, also known as a beautiful patina. This can also be buffed out with some leather polish to bring back the deep rich color and give the leather a more new appearance. Oil-tanned high quality leather has remarkable qualities to resist the degrading effects of water on the surface of the leather. This leather has a nice, smooth and soft finish, it really is some of the highest quality leather available.
