Door Knocker Harvest high quality Goddess Vintage Brass Hardware Demeter Ceres

Intricately-detailed brass door knocker features a beautiful woman that I believe to be the Greek goddess of the harvest, Demeter (Roman goddess Ceres). Her face is surrounded by fruit and wheat. The knocker portion is made of laurel leaves. There is a blank plate above her face that could be engraved.

7" tall x 3-1/2" wide at top. There are 2 screw holes for mounting, but no screws are included. Circa 1970s. Good vintage condition. The color high quality is not as bright as in first photos — see close ups for actual color. Circa 1970, probably reproduced from a Victorian original.
