We All Deserve the high quality Light: Giclée Limited Edition Prints

ABOUT THE WORK + PLEASE READ

I am a channel for the light. The light shines through me. When I channel light, I encourage others to do the same, simply by existing.

I have not always felt deserving of all the light, and this piece is a reminder that I am, you are, we all are.

We All Deserve the Light is a surrender to the beauty of the present.
Painted at a moment when I had to go paint, moved by the beauty of life itself,
I found a sense of the divine within.
I found whatever I had available--a large wooden panel from Lowe's--
and began painting.
The work is named after a song by River Whyless of Asheville, NC.
The song speaks of healing, sharing space, and connection.
I believe we all deserve, and have access to, the light within.
And sometimes we need reminders in friends, and in works of art.

All prints are limited first edition, signed and numbered by the artist unless otherwise indicated.

16" x 20" cotton paper - limited edition of 10 prints only
18" x 28" stretched canvas - limited edition of 5 prints only

Will there ever be other sizes printed? Maybe, as greeting cards or something else--then again, maybe not.

Stretched canvas prints are gorgeous reproductions that are very difficult to distinguish from the original; I've had art directors at museums be unable to tell they are prints. My printer is that awesome.


WTF IS GICLÉE ANYWAY?

"Giclée" means "squirt" (someone who wasn't French decided to use this French word to refer to fine art printing because they were trying to sound fancy). Giclée printing refers to the practice of using extremely high density (dots per inch) inkjet printers to squirt ink onto high quality fine art paper. Giclée is not a regulated term. If artists are advertising giclée prints, ask them about their print process. LaMB Fine Art prints are printed professionally by Asheville Fine Art printing with the highest quality Epson printers utilizing highly pixelated images for the most vibrant, gorgeous reproductions possible that transmit the emotive quality of the original work.


I believe that if I'm going to decide that it's worth it to sacrifice a tree to share my art, it might as well be for prints that are as high quality as possible, both in terms of color matching and clarity/density of ink. It is my intention to do my art justice. And the tree!


FRAMING

All prints are unframed unless otherwise indicated. With a paper print you will want to buy a frame separately. I suggest finding a local woodworker who makes frames out of upcycled barnwood for a beautiful eco-friendly option that supports a local craftsman. With a canvas print you don't need to: it's ready to go.

SHIPPING TIME

If it's listed here and it's paper, it's in stock in my studio and ships within the week. If it's canvas, please allow up to 2-3 weeks to receive your work. Canvas prints are printed and stretched on demand, which is labor intensive and takes time to get your stretches picture perfect. I care a lot about getting you the highest quality work possible, and I'm grateful you're investing in LaMB Fine Art. Please allow me the time to invest in your art to last a lifetime. *Canvas disclaimer: canvas for printing is different from canvas you paint on. Canvases are stretched perfectly tight to order. No matter what you do, years down the road this canvas can gather moisture. This is why it is stretched over premium heavy duty stretcher strips and includes tension wedges. All you have to do is insert the wedge in the corner slots, tap them with a hammer, and the canvas is perfectly tight like the day you bought it once more! All canvas purchases come with a video by me on how to do this. It's super simple! Just ask for me to email you the link!


RIGHTS TO REPRODUCTION DO NOT TRANSFER WITH SALE

Laura Marie Blankenship reserves all rights to reproduction of any works she produces. The rights to reproduction do NOT transfer with purchase of the original or a print. Reproducing the artwork (making prints of it) is illegal to do without the written consent of the artist. This includes making prints for personal use such as greeting cards or decorations; even this is illegal without consent of the artist. Thank you for honoring this!


The buyer DOES have the right to do whatever they want with the one physical original artwork or one physical print they purchase from Laura, i.e., gift it, sell it, etc.


DIGITAL SHARING

It really helps me out when my clients share images of the artwork I produce with credit to me on social media. I am always grateful for this! Tagging me is especially helpful in growing my business through word of mouth. Thanks in advance for sharing my art on your walls!!!


However, please do not add filters, effects, or alter the image in any way to appear different from the original. Please do not share this image to advertise for an event, business, or offering of any kind, without my prior written consent. This is illegal and infringes on intellectual property rights.


If you would like to use an image for promotional or other material, or anything besides showing off to friends and family, please just ask first. Otherwise it ain't legal!
