Set manutenzione, pulizia e riparazione in cuoio e tela per mitragliatrici Hotchkiss modello 1914, completo di set per pulizie e ricambi, con mirino antiaereo e scovolo e con oliatore. L'interno in tela è mal ridotto e lo scovolo sarebbe da riparare. Dai marchi impressi nel cuoio e su alcuni attrezzi si può fare un'ipotesi della loro provenienza.

L'oliatore ha una scritta in arabo che vorrebbe poter significa "scuotere". Dal 1921 la Hotchkiss M1914 era in dotazione a truppe coloniali francesi che parlavano arabo (algerini, marocchini e tunisini). Altre Hotchkiss 1914 supplementari furono date ai reparti coloniali nel 1939. Ecco l'origine della scritta in arabo sull'oliatore. Nel 1940 diversi battaglioni marocchini e tunisini cercarono di opporsi alle divisioni tedesche all'attacco, nella Francia ontinentale. Furono travolti e annientati, nonostante un'eroica resistenza. Come preda bellica furono fornite dai Tedeschi anche all'Italia fascista per postazioni fisse in bunker e per i reparti della MVSN fascista.

The oiler has an inscription in Arabic that he would like to be able to mean "shake".
