Why are the bottles amber in color?
Amber glass bottles provide excellent UV protection for the contents. This is important because UV rays can sometimes change the components of the contents. Amber colors were produced from the natural impurities in glass (i.e., iron & manganese) as well as from color additives such as nickel, sulfur, black lead, and carbon. This is just for fun informational purposes, there is nothing in the bottles that are being sold.


DISCLAIMER: These bottles are VINTAGE. Subject to years of neglect, some of these bottles may have residue, scratches, chips, and normal wear on them. They are in good condition and we like them a little bit imperfect, it builds character! If you prefer a cleaner look, however, they can absolutely be given a good scrub to reveal their sparkling potential.
