EAGLES SYMBOLIZE: POWER, INTELLIGENCE, VISION
The Eagle story is one of the most popular in Native art and mythology. In many regions, Eagle clan families are traditionally very prominent and Eagle Chiefs are the most powerful. Eagle is used to represent perception and spiritual connection. Eagle feathers and down are sacred: Traditionally high quality, shamans believed in their healing powers and used them in ceremonial contexts, such as honouring a respected guest. The down symbolizes good luck, peace, welcome and friendship.
