This exquisite 925 solid sterling silver spoon is 5 3/4 inches long by just over 1 3/16 inch wide. It weighs 24 grams. It is stamped Sterling and the hallmarks of Lion, Anchor, and G. Period W monogram. Expected light tarnish and scratches on the silver can be polished out; otherwise, good estate condition.

Created for Gorham by noted designer William Christmas Codman in 1895, Gorham's Chantilly pattern is the most popular sterling flatware pattern ever produced! Chantilly's distinctive scroll design and fleur-de-lis accents were inspired by the Rococo style of early 18th-century France.
