This First Edition Collectible limited edition of the Silver Surfer was produced exclusively for Marvel Comics by Lasermach, Inc. and released in 2005. It is new in original packaging & has a silver label adhered to the reverse of the cell's matting, plus the Marvel Certificate of Authenticity. The cell, with matting, is 9X12 inches. The double matting around the picture is silver/gray inside with a black exterior mat. At the bottom of the matting is a silver (metal) tag stating it is #481 out of an edition of 500. The fine print on the CofA states: "Great care has been taken to faithfully retain all the qualities of the original artwork. The image has been printed on specially treated mylar and matted with buffered acid-free high quality matboard..." Would look great framed or unframed on a wall with other Marvel images or by itself. Have not found any others for sale in my research, so a truly rare piece. Perfect collectible for any Marvel fan!.
