Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery Powder high quality Horn

Revolutionary War / French & Indian War's designed Powder Horns. All horns unless otherwise suggested are on average 12 to 15 inches in length along the horn outside curve and 2 to 2 1/2 inches across the base plug. All base plugs are wood secured with a Bee's wax and wooden pegs. Carving of horn is all handcrafted. Each Horn is hand waxed and buffed to protect and enhance the horns beauty.
This horn features a Maple turned Base plug high quality and throat with carved notch and stopper for carrying strap. Find etched on the body of this horn a map of the routes travel to the Pacific Ocean and the route the Corp took upon the return trip. Shipping as always is free to all locations in CONUS.
